GS&S has extensive experience with design of deep foundations including driven piles, helical piles, micropiles, caissons, secant piles, drilled shafts and diaphragm slurry walls and barrettes. These types of deep foundations attain their geotechnical load capacity from end bearing and skin friction. GS&S will evaluate the various options based on geotechnical investigations, site specific requirements, phasing, constructability and economy. Factors assessed include vibration, proximity of existing structures and effects of installation induced settlement and heave.
GS&S provides monitoring services for pile and anchor load tests and provide analysis and load test reports.
